How Fast is my connection?

I was wondering, how do I check the speed of my Time Capsule connection?

On a PC, its in the bottom right, but on my iMac/ MacBook Pro, the AirPort menu doesn't tell me the speed.

Hold down the option key while pressing the airport menu-bar icon.

Keep in mind, this is the speed of your network connection, not your internet connection.

iStat Pro also gives information about current inbound and outbound wireless rates.

I've just brought a new TC and my MBP is showing a transfer rate of 104.

Is this good ? Is it right for N speeds?

N can achieve speeds up to 160mbps. 104mbps is good, and over twice as fast as a G network would be. It'll vary though, click it again and you'll probably get a higher figure.

i thought the N native speed was 300mbps? or maybe its bits and not bytes or the other way around.
