How fast is the iPad charger on an iPhone 8+?

For those not liking the extra $75 cost for a USB-C brick and cable for fast charging, an iPad charging brick might be speedy enough.

Test was done like I normally use my phone. Battery gets low, phone gets plugged it, that’s it.

1:08 AM = 4%
1:38 AM = 42%
2:08 AM = 76%
2:38 AM = 94%

YMMV, but this might be plenty quick for your usage, and odds are you iPad brick in your house already. The iPad charging brick is fine for me.

Been using an iPad charging brick for years w/great results.

From what I've read, the charging speed difference between the iPad charging brick vs. the USB-C charging brick is negligible to non-existent.
