hey guys, I need to format my macbook, but I cant insert the cds because by cd rom is not working.

Is there another way to format my macbook with the cds? Is there like software or something I can do?

regards

If you have a bootable cloned backup on an external drive, you can boot your machine from it and use Disk Utility to format your internal drive.

Or, you can buy/borrow an external optical drive.

What is the plan once your internal drive is formatted (erased) ?

Im going to sell my current macbook, im getting the new macbook pro.

So there is no way I can do it with out a clone... without conecting anything.. like some software to download etc..?

No... the problem is, you can't format your startup drive while it's in use. By using your optical drive and booting to the system disk or booting to an external device, that makes your internal hard drive available for formatting.
