I am trying to make a decision on whether to go ahead and get a MacBook (white) or wait and see what the refresh will entail. I am not into gadgets, hence I am not hype about getting the "newest" every now and then. I just hate to just spent 1xxx.xx on a laptop and in a week the new ones are out and the price range is about the same. Know what I mean? (from a consumer's point??)

Advice please!

You should probably check-out appleinsider.com. They are a usually well informed tracker/forecaster of news and future updates. (no affiliation -- other than avid reader)

Basically you wait and wait and the wait some more. The rumor sites church out the same story over and over until one day something happens and the new gear arrives. the current state of the rumor sites is in the regurgitation stage where the same stories are reposted with little new information. It gets annoying.
