How good are Hardshell Cases

Hello!

I want to buy a hardshell case for my MBA but I want to know how bad the hinge could possibly loose in time. And how often I must clean the macbook so that the dust don't damage the device.

Cleaning would be factored around the environmental conditions, and if the case is vented. My recommendation would be Moshi Iglaze(Doesn't scratch, looks great), and the Tech21 for the somewhat increased impact protection(shows fingerprints and scratches in black).
