I'm looking for a system for my home theater. It'll be used mainly for games and movies. No music, so I don't care about the finer points of sound quality. I just want insane bass. I also want to save money. I've heard Logitech being recommended for gaming mainly, and particularly for their bass. I'm looking at the Z-2300's, or the Z Cinema if it's worth the extra cash.

I'm even looking at the KRK Rokit G2 RP8's, which I read really delivers, but it's a little too "music-inclined," which leaves me unsure if it'll meet what I want.

Also, the Logitech Z Cinema is USB-only, which seriously limits it.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

If I were you I'd grab an actual home theater system. I have a refurbished Onkyo S770 setup driven via optical out of my Mac Pro and it blows the daylights out of any computer or gaming system out there. Check out shoponkyo.com.
