Just go a LTE version and considering activating. After a couple of months of usage, do you get every text and call when you leave your phone at home?

Thanks.

I have gotten all calls and text on my watch, when my phone has either been at home, or has been locked etc. I have had good signal in my area.

Verizon offers 3 months of LTE service for free with a trial.

The three months NO CHG AW LTE during my Verizon experience was great, but the experience was less than expected.

On Verizon services, the S3LTE AW does not transition well from home wifi as I leave the house. In the yard the AW can’t get wifi and won’t convert to cellular. Makes it useless alone while gardening or mowing.

It connects to cellular as I walk a block from the house.

Former AT&T coverage in Sim-free phone easily transitioned to cellular in yard.

Maybe consider Verizon has one tower about 3 miles from me and AT&T has 3 closer?

IPX experience, meanwhile, comparable for data and voice.
