How have Apple still not fixed pinch to zoom for PDFs??!!??

It feels like nearly a decade now since this issue appeared where pinch to zoom in the iOS PDF reader causes the document to jump to a random location.

It’s so incredibly frustrating if you read a lot of PDFs.

It’s still not fixed in iOS 17 which is unbelievable.

Anyone else driven mad by this?

Yes, I can reproduce the bug. It‘s maddening. Nevertheless, iOS‘s PDF implementation is still far better than the competition.
