How have you all found the youtube quailty on 3G coverage on the iphone 4?

The default setting on the dedicated youtube app from apple is not HQ. However, if you go to youtube.com on you broaswer, you can select HQ. Go ahead and save the link to youtube as an icon on your phone and that way you can just move it and put it in place of the apple dedicated youtube app.
Youtube app hasn't had any improvement in over three years. Picture quality is horrendous over 3G .
Maybe it's just me but I think it's adequate. What disappoints me is you can't get full access to you tube because of flash.

Agreed!! To many videos don't play, search is limited and some users choose not to make their vids available for mobile. But as the quality of vids go, it's very good when using jailbroken 3G restrictor.
Skyfire for iPhone is a huge disappointment, they need to update asap.
i still have the MiTube app that was mysteriously released in the app store but shortly taken down. I am able to save and view youtube videos over 3g. I believe its the same as Mxtube if youre jailbroken.

No you don't. Did you try what I said? If I'm on 3G I don't mind going to the mobile website...it's not hard, unless you are lazy to do a few clicks.
