Hey guys just curious as to what volume level you keep your calls at? Not the speaker but the ear piece volume? Do you go max or medium or what?

One or two clicks down from the highest setting, Apple has always made their in call volume on the softer side in my opinion.

Well I guess then the volume you have it set to most

In my office just 1 bar is more than enough. I leave it sitting on my desk right by my keyboard, though.

If I'm outside and it's in my pocket then I turn it up to the max.

Everywhere else...I don't really think about it that much. Somewhere in between those two.

I have it 100% and it´s still ridiculously quiet! It´s really embarrassing to keep shouting to my friends all the time "What? Could you speak up!", especially in public places. And my friends are always telling my to get rid of the crappy iPhone because of this annoying problem. Rather huge problem, because it´s main function is a phone after all.

No there´s nothing wrong with my ears, I´ve got very good hearing. And no my iPhone 4 isn´t faulty, one of my friend´s iPhone 4 has the exact same quiet volume.

The phones I had before were loud enough.

I dont think you understand his question. He means your ear piece volume, like when youre on a call. Not the ringer volume.
