how hot is your black macbook?

i have 2.2sr macbook i have 4gb ram
and all i have open is safari , itune, and stickies and on istat it show 85 to 90
and one of the processor is always maxed

I have a 2.4 black MB just a week old and temps range from 41 to 52 degrees centigrade. I use smcFanControl to keep the fans at 2500 rpm.

Running the same programs, Activity Monitor says each Core is 20%.

Your stat program must be pegging the processor...

Reset your PRAM, this solved the issue the last few times it has happened, yea few..

My BlackBook Penryn 250GB is so HOOOOTTT...

I can fry eggs and bacon in about 4 minutes. LOL

Actually, istat says 34 degrees, smcFC says 1800, DAMN that's good-TOO COOL!
