My Macbook Pro gets really hot, which I look at iStat Pro it says it's like around 100 degree's. Is that an ok temperature... and is this temperature the reason my computer has gotten slower.

If the OP says the computer is slower, it could mean it's 100ºC which is point that the computer will shut all but 1 core down and drop the multiplier to the lowest possible setting.

Of course that's also the Tj max of the Core 2, and it could only go that high if the OP was insulating the aluminum and the fans are all broken.

Trust me, if though 100F was hot for a MBP just wait until it gets up to 185F... just so you know, I've found that a fairly average temperature for a MBP is around 130F if it's relatively idle.
