How i can know macbook pro A1278 it MLB K24 or M97

Hi every one i just start fix the macbook but i have one question.
how i can know logic board it m97 or k24 because MacBook Pro A1278 have many part. how i can check...

The computer should have a serial number (for example C02JT0M0DKQ2 which relates to my now defunct mid '12 rMBP). This should give you the exact model which you can then cross reference to find the correct part
