Hi there,

I purchased my Macbook pro retina back in 2014. Missed the opportunity for free replacement. Now my screen is clean thank to Listerine Cool mint. There are some videos on Youtube and posts on the internet as a proof it just works.

It took approx. 6 hours of rubbing with a microfiber towel and half a bottle of Listerine to got rid off all antireflective coating.

Screen is now a bit shiny but I quess it was worth it.

Apart from ignoring the mess, the only other solution is to pay a few hundred $ to get a replacement screen. For a 5 year old laptop.

Plus, your laptop now smells minty fresh!

There are dust particles on the second picture, just ignore them. Can be cleaned.

Depends on how much money you can make within 6 hours..
6 hours does seem like an excessive amount of time, but if the end result what the OP wanted. I'm not sure how well the screen will be with day to day usage w/o it but hey its not my laptop
