How I Got Kindle App Working in Lion

I was not able to get the Kindle app to work at all under Lion that I downloaded from Amazon.

However, the Kindle app I downloaded from the Apple app worked OK!

I was told to try this at the genius bar, and, viola, it worked!

Hopefully, other fixes will come soon.

Thank you! I just tried installing Kindle for Mac on Lion and realized it wasn't working. Oddly enough this is one of the few compatibility issues I've had thus far and I have a bunch of legacy software.
 
Kindle on Lion

Reinstalling from App Store made this wok fine. Need to delete the older version first, however
