How i retrieved a 3.2 inch disc from mac book pro 13 inch

it was frustrating when i inserted a 3.2 inch disc inside and to my dismay it was not recognised by the mac and no way the closing soft felt will allow the disc to come out.
i started probing the cd disc tray with a thin bookmark which was long enough.
no use. restarting and holding the eject button are of no help.
Then i tried to open the slit with my plastic i.d card and holding the mac in such a way the cd tray opening facing the ground.voila the edge of the cd protrude out. oh my i pulled it out.

I got a non-standard disc with my Logitech Gamepad back in June. I had only just got my MBP the week before and didn't know much so I shoved it in. I tried tweezers and other "instruments" to try and get it out so in the end I picked up my MBP and pointed the disc drive to the floor and gave it a firm, couple second shake. The disc fell out and I was sooooo relieved!!!
