Does it really matter?

If this was a limited edition, only 30 will be made and money it no object OK.

Interesting that he would put up his IMEI # for anyone to see.

If an apple rep saw that they could simply trace the IMEI back to where he got it and someone would be in big trouble for leaking things early.

That's interesting that the seller decided to take the pics at a bong shop. I personally would have chosen a crack house.

I think it looks like it has the ring around it when you photoshop the brightness, appears to at least.

I think the space grey 5s is the most badass looking iPhone since the 2007 OG.

HA! Same here!

I love it. I'm going back to black for the first time since iPhone 4. I had 2 of those. A black, then a white. :)

it shows ATT 4G in one of the pics. I thought the Verizon/ATT models accessed the same LTE bands, so it should say AT&T LTE if it were truly a 5S. If its a Verizon 5, then it would only show the 4G cuz its not LTE compatible.

Seeing how the item location is in NYC where ATT has LTE service, im not sure about this...

He might be in a building where AT&T's LTE signal doesn't penetrate.

I just want to know why anyone would actually pay $1,500 just to have a phone one day earlier than some other folks.

You must certainly understand that $1500 is pocket change to some and it would be worth the small amount to have the phone. It is too close to the introduction for this guy to give any exclusive deal. AND with the IMEI shown, Apple could kill this phone at any time.

Wow, that actually is the phone, i copied the serial number down on apple.com and it shows as iPhone 5S

Based on the serial number this is the info on the phone;

Nice Name:
Family name:
Group1:
Group2:
Generation:
Production year: 2013
Production week: 35 (September)
Model introduced:
Memory - number of slots: Please tell us how many memory (RAM) slots this machine has.
Factory: C3 (China)

So it is very very new, I remember when I got the 5 it was a couple of months old
