A little background. I have been an iPhone user forever. I believe my first one was iPhone 3G. Over time, I have had some upgrades that materially changed my experiences and others which have not.
The iPhone 14 Pro changed my iPhone experience materially.
IN SHORT: Camera, Dynamic island, screen + speakers, larger base storage
EXPLANATION:
1) I would first like to talk about the camera. In the past I used my camera to take photos of my best moments such as when I'd go out with friends and party and things like that. Now, the camera is SOOO good I can take a picture of almost anything and it looks like an amazing photograph. I can take a photo of my dinner and post it online and people love it. I now actually take pictures ALL THE TIME of sunsets, nature, food, etc when I rarely did in the past because the camera has become so good
2) I have touched on this before but Dynamic Island (DI) has changed my experience completely. That "extra button" on top is SO convenient and I could not do without it moving forward. It is a "must have" feature for me. It lets me know "where I am" in my iPhone and lets me get back to the application quickly. I might be reading my messages and then have youtube in the background. DI lets me know and also lets me get to it quickly and easily. It's incredible. I must also add, the animation looks super cool. Unbelievable feature IMO
3) This one might be hard to believe and may not make sense, but watching TV on my phone is actually something I've been doing a lot now. The screen is fantastic and the speakers are also so good, I find myself enjoying TV on it more than on an actual TV. It is because of the quality of the experience. Overall, consuming media is much better. I never used to consume much media at all, but I would bet that I am consuming more than before simply because I actually enjoy the experience- not just the content I'm watching
4) I would usually get the smaller storage. Now that the base is 128GB, I am able to download apps freely. I can download as many as I want since I don't really need much space. I can take pictures freely. I love that.
