How is Beta 1 running on iPad Mini 2

Having played with it for much of yesterday, I can confidently say: it sure is unfinished software! The new features are neat, but it's definitely buggy, laggy, and shorter on battery life for now (which may partially just be due to the fact that it's possibly still doing Spotlight reindexing and Photos stuff? You know, in addition to the lack of optimization inherent to betas)
