So i'm a video editor about to buy a Macbook Pro with Retina display and I was wondering if any of you out there have used Final Cut Pro 7 with your rMBP's? How do you like it? Does the video playback at a higher resolution and does the application itself have support for the retina? Impressions? Thanks.

Only Final Cut Pro X is retina enabled. Specifically the 10.0.5 update. No other previous version of Final Cut is retina enabled.
