I have the braided solo loop and after having gone out drinking with friends, I am so impressed at how secure the band is attached to the watch itself.

I mean I was hammered drunk and woke up in a hotel room next morning still buzzed and had a wild night.

Am I to understand that all hands attach to the watch itself magnetically? Cause if so it’s gotta be one heck of a magnet.

This morning when I finally took my watch off I yanked it off stretching the braided loop band perhaps too much, but as always it stayed attached to the watch itself.

I’m wondering if there’s any documentation or anything that can show how the bands attach to the watch cause I am seriously impressed.

I’ve never had one band detached from the watch itself. Although admittedly when wearing my Milanese band it can get loose but from the magnet buckle portion of the watch and not from where the 2 ends of the bands connect to my stainless steel watch.

It’s not a magnetic attachment, at least not completely. The middle tab on each end on the bands is a compressible pin which locks into place in the watch channel.
I figured it must be something more secure like what you mentioned.

If I can find blueprints or close up
Photos of this compressible pin I’ll add them here later

That part is exceptionally well designed. We almost overlook it sometimes because it works so consistently and effortlessly that people forget about it.

I just wish the lock was more secure. I was wearing a Nike Sportsband and went for a swim this summer. After a while I realised my watch was not on my arm anymore. It came off during a small cliff dive. Too deep and too much seaweed to recover it. Lesson learned, don't dive in without a secure strap
