I came across this Reddit post on someone having network issues. Seems like another person did as well. Anyone else having issues?

I just traded in my M2 iPad Pro and I was going to order the M5 today but I'm doing a last minute check for any known problems. Depending on your answers, I may hold off until Christmas to allow for more production runs.

Edit 11/5: I got my M5 iPP today and on WiFi I hit 1470Mbps download but I have only 1200Mbps service. So, there doesn't seem to be any network issues. My cellular speed wasn't very high (300Mbps download) but I'm in a concrete high rise building. If I test it outdoors sometime, I'll update my post.

Does anyone have any experience with remote gaming using Moonlight/Sunshine/VoidLink. On my m4 I had to disable Wife 6e in order to play stutter free.

I was initially disappointed with the iPad Pro M5 WiFi when I tested it this morning, as I was getting significantly slower speeds than the M4 (eero 6+ setup, standing right in front of a hardwired node)… the M4 was giving me in the neighborhood of 900mb/s, while the M5 was only getting about 400mb/s.

Then I realized that the M5 was still connected to a node downstairs (where I had just come from), not the one right in front of me… cycling WiFi off and on prompted it to connect to the nearby node, and I’m now getting the expected speed, same as the M4.

I have a WIFI 7 ASUS router and it links All channels into one strong signal so no issues at all.

I have a Firewalla Gold Plus linked to a Netgear RAXE500 in AP mode, solid as a rock.

Wifi 7 here on a 2.2Gb/sec plan and getting around 1750+Mb/sec over wifi. With the m4 it was very finicky where half the time it would not exceed 800mb/sec despite the router reporting it was on the 6ghz band and when it did work it would max out at 1300Mb/sec
