How is speaker quality on 2017 or 2018 13 MBP when in closed-display mode?

I have a MacBook Air today that I keep closed most of the time with an external monitor. I play audio through the speakers while the laptop is closed. Sound is OK. How is speaker quality on a 2017 or 2018 13 MBP when in closed-display mode? Thanks.
