Felt the lighter weight when I checked it out at Best Buy and that was nice, but Id like to get some feedback on the grip for daily use. I go no case and I dont love the grip/feel of the 14 Pro. I want to see if there is a solid reason for me to upgrade since it would require buying out the last 2 years of my Verizon device payments (only to sign up for another 36 months, what happened to 24 months?).

A lot better than the 12-14 series. I use the pro max. The rounded corners make a huge difference. I hate the way the phone felt on the 12-14, always felt I was going to drop it so I always used a case. Been naked since launch with the 15pm and haven’t once been worried about dropping it.

The grip is so much better. Spiritually it's almost a return to the 5/5S days of grip. My 14 Pro was tough to use naked bc of the weight and sharp edges, but at least it was grippier than the slippery aluminum on the non-Pros which I constantly dropped (even the Minis). In fact it may sound silly but the design change is just about the only reason I upgraded from the 14 Pro to the 15 Pro. It really is a joy to use caseless and I'm very happy with the new design.

Feels more comfortable to hold than the 14 because of the rounded corners

But the max, because of its size, the matte finish back & slightly more matte-finish sides have less “grip” because they are not very tacky against the hand. I prefer caseless but I’m gonna need something to help me keep hold of the 15PM strictly because of its texture.
