How is the iPad availability in stores now?

I have an iPad 3 but I'm looking to pick up another. How's the in-store availability for Best Buy and other stores, anybody know?

Figure this way my wife and kids can use the other iPad 3 and now I will have one of my own ;)

They are widely available. No lines but some models do still sell out briefly. I'd just call ahead before making the drive.
 
All stores have stock. Wait, some. Wait, none.

Not so sure about this. I've been looking for a 32 gb white wifi for my wife and they're vapor. I ordered one from the apple store last week in case I can't find one sooner.
 
My local BestBuy had both 32GB and 64GB WiFi models available. Seems like Apple is being better at keeping up with demand this time. iPad2 wasn't available for a long time locally.
 
Walked into my bestbuy last sunday and picked up a 16gb black verizon. No problem. Everyone seems to be out of 32gb wifi AND 4g. I guess it is THE sweetspot. I sold my backup ipad2 16gb verizon for $375. I paid $350 for it a few weeks ago just to have after selling my ipad2 16gb wifi for $415. Other than the camera i dont see a lot of difference between the 2 and 3. When i had my 2 i compared it with my wifes 3 and was knocked out. But now using the 3 it doesnt seem any different. Could just be my eyes.
 
I've been trying to track down a 32GB Black Verizon since Saturday (after I erroneously received an AT&T on Friday) with no luck whatsoever.

I returned the AT&T and ordered a VZW version from apple.com yesterday (4/9), my order is still "item processing".

I'm in the NYC area.
 
Florida stores have every model in. I walked in and bought my 64gb 4g white with ease! While the website still said 1-2weeks shipping!
 
Check out findone or findone plus from the AppStore. In my experience pretty reliable and accurate. Found one at target and within minutes of purchasing mine, it went away in the app.

I went to the Altamonte Springs Apple Store for mine and they didn't have 32GB wifi in stock. I got a 16GB instead. I was on the fence about the capacity anyway, so them not having 32GB in stock made the decision very easy for me.
 
I called a few days about a white 16GB wifi and most BB's were out, but they said they were ordering more...called two days later, which was yesterday and they have some. Most of the stores I called said white was getting sold more than black.
