How is this Legit?

You're getting a drive full of software without the software licenses, i.e., piracy. Its not legit but it occurs quite often.
 
It's not. In fact it's at least a civil wrong and possibly violates some criminal statutes.
 
Not at all legit - and if anything happens and you need to reinstall the OS or replace the drive, thats all the software gone as well!
