I'm choosing between the Verizon vs AT&T networks for the iPad 2, and I know the information: Verizon is better for coverage, AT&T is better for speed. My question is: is the bandwidth on Verizon good enough to stream Netflix at the same quality as AT&T? (by same quality, i'm referring to the fact that when the download speed slows down, Netflix will occasionally downsample the quality of the video).

basically, in short: when watching netflix on the iPad, does the AT&T and Verizon network provide a comparable experience?

Depends on where you are. In Los Angeles, CA testing on VZW I get more buffering on Netflix this happens with Hulu as well. Netflix & Hulu gives me better viewing experience on AT&T. Since, AT&T is considerably faster the video quality is much higher then VZW.
