I haven't used wireless sync in several years because iTunes always lost my iPhone 7 on Windows. I'll soon be getting a 13 Pro and am wondering if it's improved in recent years, especially since I've read that Lightning is stuck at USB 2.0. The 13 Pro has Wifi 6, and I've got a Wifi 6 router which is rock solid and 1Gbps+ for wireless connections. It would be great to use it, but I don't want to fight reliability issues all over again.

I use Finder syncing (M1 Mac Mini, Monterey) for my iPhone XR and iPad Air 4 (iOS/iPadOS 15) and I haven't noticed any speed difference from using the plug-in method.
