Hi Folks,

so I’ve ordered a Watch SE... Then I’ve been offered a used Series 5 for basically the same price as the SE. This is significant, because the Series 5 normally costs about 100€ more than the SE...

I am now considering returning the SE and getting the used Series 5 for the Always on Display (ECG is not a factor).

The Series 5 has literally not a single scratch, dent or any other sign of usage... So it is as Good as new.

Only catch: It is about 5 months old (says apple’s website when I check the serial number).

So my question is: What battery life can I expect from a 5 months old Apple Watch Series 5?

Thanks
Cihag

I've had the Series 5 since launch and my battery life has actually improved since then. I get equal battery life out of it vs. the S6.

6 months old 5 series still holding up pretty well. Has 100% battery capacity.

Thanks to all the replies, this makes me confident to choose the 5...

question to those who said100%: Is it possible to look it up somewhere? Where can I see the remaining capacity?

Thanks to all the helpful replies... I updated the 5 to OS7 and indeed, it still has a "maximum battery capacity" of 100%.

I guess I will return the SE and keep the 5. The way I see it, the only advantage of the SE over the 5 is the always on altimeter, and I'm not much of a hiker...
