I have a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro Retina. I currently have my iTunes library on an external hard drive connected to my Mac Mini. I would like to move the entire library of files to a NAS. Since I have 2 machines, I would like to know how to best set it up so when I fire up iTunes on either one, I can access the same media library.

They both log in with the same Apple ID.

The iTunes library file does not necessarily need to be identical, though it would be more convenient. Meaning, I just want to make sure all of the media is resident on the NAS. However, if I have different playlists and so on for each machine, I can live with that.

Thanks!
