Would anyone have a solution to the following:
I have thousands of emails, growing to 10 G, in Google Apps.
I would like to keep a local copy (mirror?) of it on my MacBookPro in Mail App, which at the moment still seems to be managing it on imap although not totally fast.
I then want to keep a more recent-only copy (say a few months) of received and sent mails on my MacBookAir for travels. At the moment the Macbook Air is also on imap, and Mail is really a pain to use -- just totally overloaded.
I really love the imap concept and being able to do things in sync in 3 places, on Web at Google Apps, on the Pro in Mail, and on the Air in Mail.
But somehow I will have to reduce the Air burden, and I suspect I would like to see the Pro faster too -- and keep absolutely everything in Google Apps where there's 25Gb space.
Any advice on how to achieve any of the above? Most urgent is to get the Air workload lightened up, without deleting any mails from the pro or Google Apps.
