I just checked my folder that has my ipad backup files because I noticed by hard drive space has rapidly been depleting over the last week or so. My backup files com in at 22gb, is that normal?

How much data do you have on the iPad?

You should be able to check that via iTunes, though Music and Videos and Photos might not be included in the backup.

Probably about 3 gigs or so on goodreader. I have all my notes from school. What can I do. Can I just delete them and back it up?

The thing about the back-up is that it keeps adding to the file, so if you deleted all of your notes from GoodReader, your back-up file will still be 22gb. But if you then add 2 more gigs of notes, your file will increase to 24gb.

The best way to reduce the file size is to Delete the back-up and clean out your iPad from unwanted data, then back-up again.

Can you post a screenshot of Capacity Usage of your iPad.

Earlier today I had about 1.8gb of 'Other Data' on my iPad, so I did a Complete Restore from a Back-up, and then I re-synced all of my Apps/Media back and this time I only had 500mb of 'Other', not sure why that is, but I cleared about 1gb space doing this. (All of my previous app data is still their, I didn't loose anything)

You, my friend, need to either upgrade your capacity or delete those vids!
