lol im turning into an apple phoneboy, verizon iphone is last step for full on fanboy. So anyways, how confirmed is it that the iphone is coming to verizon? Of course there are rumors but how TRUE are the rumors?

Any tech site can make up a rumor but its just what they "predict". Nothing has been confirmed and the contract apple has to keep the iPhone AT&T exclusive isn't expired till 2012.

I wouldn't be waiting strictly for this thing to show up. Grab yourself another phone while you wait. I'm sure even if a Verizon iPhone does drop next year, their network will have serious issues. Verizon's network will probably end up like AT&T's.

these threads will one day stop, but then something else will takes its place. For the longest time it was: When will Apple add MMS, Tethering, Video Recording, Front Facing Camera, Flash, LED Flash, Custom Wallpaper, Copy and Paste, 3G, GPS, Apps, and so-on. When the original iPhone was available at 4,8gb, people wanted nothing less than 16gb, then it was released at 16,32gb, now people want nothing less than 64,128gb.

People are never happy with what they have, they always want more and their going to voice their opinions here on forum over and over until they get what they want now, and then they will move on to the next big thing.

My prediction:summer 2011 you will be able to import a CDMA iPhone from overseas that will work on Verizon's network with some sort of unlock...verizon will oblige those who bring forth these "bastard" iPhones...in the summer of 2012 you will be able to buy a Verizon iPhone legitimately when Lord Jobs is no longer under contract with the "Death Star"....

This time around seems definitely more real. Especially, when it comes from John Gruber. Plus, there are codes. N92 and it's two step away. I suspect either Jan. 2011 or June 2011. If I were apple, I would do it Jan.. Why? Well, android is right behind them or have just pass the iPhone in sales world wide. I suspect, all carriers will get the iphone in by summer 2012.

Until Steve Jobs announces something, we're never going to really know. We have a lot of speculation, but those supposed CDMA phones might be going to China. Also, people forget that Sprint is also CDMA.
In essence, don't count on Verizon to carry the iPhone.

Well, at least, it might be another carrier, Sprint. China will help Apple catchup to Google's android and pass ahead.
