I got a gift of a 2010 Air, but then was advised to return it to Amazon, since the 2011 models were imminent. Since it's an account credit, I can't take the cash and buy from Apple. Do anyone know when Amazon should carry the 2011 Airs?

Thanks!

Based on past experiences, tomorrow is likely but certainly within a day or two.

MacMall says they will have them tomorrow, so Amazon should as well.

Bob Coxner posted a handy analysis on another thread for peeps ordering there:

Bottom line, If someone lives in CA and wants a stock 11" upper model:

APPLE (No Discount) - - $1199 + 105 CA Tax + $8 CA eWaste + $10 2-3 day delivery = $1322

EDU - $1149 + $101 CA Tax + $8 CA eWaste fee + $10 2-3 day dleivery = $1268 ... then you get a bonus of $100 in software, but that's far from "money in pocket" for most that didn't plan to buy $100 in pocket.

BUSINESS - $1127 + 96 CA Tax + $8 CA eWaste + $10 2-3 day delivery = $1243

AMAZON - $1195 + $0 Tax + $0 CA eWaste + $0 2 day shipping = $1195

Does anyone know when they will appear on the UK Amazon?

Also, why the low % reductions of late? I saved £100 when I bought a mbp year or so ago. Will it be similar for the MBA?

Look at the price history of the 2010 MBA. It saw it's first drop about 2.5 weeks after released which was about $20. It didn't get till a $100 till then end of it's life cycle. Im sure it will drop more and more. But how much know one knows.

It seems two of the posters were complementing each other so probably the same user?
