Please don't respond with "no one knows"
I know that, I know its a guess, thats what I'm looking for.
Additionally what would you like to see fixed in said update?

Likely any time now considering how many 10.7.2 betas they have been pushing out. I suppose the final release will be tagged around the time iCloud hits since that seems to be the primary focus of the upgrade, so say late September / early October.

I too cannot wait for 10.7.2. My list of Lion bugs is pretty long and I would like to have them fixed.

It was quote jarring going from the stability of 10.6.x to 10.7 and 10.7.1.

I don't remember 10.4 to 10.5 being this bad...

I did but no joy. Back on SL for now until there's a confirmation of a fix from Apple and users alike. Nice OS but not worth the ~3hr battery hit.

Agreed. The only reason I'm still running Lion is because I haven't had enough time to go back to SL.

Whatever is caning the battery life in my 2010 MBP.

Oh yeah, they definitely have to fix that. Resetting the SMC did little to nothing for me. Kinda sucks not being able to get more than 5.5 hrs (on lowest settings) in Lion whereas I was easily getting 7.5 hrs under Snow Leopard.
