How long before they start shipoing with 1.1.4 firmware ?

hi, i want to purchase an iphone next week or so but i just want to buy it and use with my t-mob sim..so my question is how long it is going to take before the iphones which are in stock now will run out and they will start shipping the new ones pre-installed with 1.1.4 ???

cos i dont want to have a locked iphone...

Well, ziphone looks like it will work on the 1.1.4 firmware. So don't worry too much about it.
