How long do you think it will be before the G5 is put away and replaced by another "better" processor. I guess cooling is an issue for laptops, so I wonder if a major change to the chip will have to be made to fix the cooling problem thus changing the chip itself so drastically that it is no longer a G5.

*Oh and wise guys, please don't post pictures of the Pontiac
 
Hmmm, let's see.... about 75% of Apple's product line is still using the G4, and the PowerMacs haven't even hit the speed they were supposed to be at more than half a year ago, so.... tomorrow maybe? Tuesday? Hmmm.

My personal guess would be WWDC 2006 at the earliest.
