I have had it since December of '07. I use it a lot and end up charging it quite frequently. Anyone know how long the battery may last before it completely dies?

iPod touch How long can I expect 1st gen ipod touch battery to last?

For a rough comparison - my iPod mini battery lasted 3 years before it was unusable (as in charge it for a day to get it to last an hour). My 5G however, is 2 and a half years old and is still great.
My mini lasted just over a year before it became nearly unusable. My iPod Touch is 6 months old and still holding near perfect battery life. Though it really varies on usage. I would imagine a heavy iPod Touch user would have problems early on. The applications and internet browsing really kill the battery.
