How long after purchasing a refurb MBP (or whatever) did it take to arrive. I am in the States for what its worth. I am looking at buying the 2.4 refurb and moving the iMac upstairs. I figure a nice shiny new Dell 24 would be good for it (meaning buying the adapter)

Depends on if you go for the free shipping. I'm in the northeast corner of the US and it took a week for free.

BTW - the dell is a great deal! Same panel as the mac, but $400 cheaper if you catch it on sale.

Yeah, going to have to catch the IPS-V panel version on sale, I think it is 649 normally. Getting it around 399 would be cool.

I was curious how this one looked http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-7345

basically the
Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor

It's a world away from the 2408WFP. Think DSLR vs. Point-and-Shoot. Or, you get what you pay for. But... if you don't need the pro-level monitor, then $299 is, as Robert Palmer said, "simply irresistible".
