How long do refurbished items remain in stock?

Hey everyone.

I was hoping to get a refurbished Macbook Pro 15", but the Apple Store Rep said they run out 'fast', he wouldn't say how long they typically remain in stock or if they're restocked.

If I wait this out for one month, am I going to be screwed?

They're in stock until they are sold. After that you have to wait for another unit to be put on sale.

They come and go. They are available as long as they have them in stock but they show up again when Apple gets more of them. E.g. Minis sell like hot cakes. They show up in 9am, they are gone after lunch, but show up again sooner than later (might take days or even weeks)

Awesome answers, thank you all. I'll try and get it as soon as possible. It all comes down to whether the 13" is suitable for me, and if so, I'll just get the new one. And if it's not, I'll get the refurbed 15". I guess I'll go check out an Apple store later.
