How long do u think the current design will last?

The previous "all-silver" design lasted for 5 years

The current design is black + silver + tapered edges.....

So how long would the current design last before apple redesigns it?

Technology moves faster with time, so I would say three years or around four revisions

No way its only 3 years, this is a major change. I'd say they'd do what they did before w/ tweaks and minor changes here & there but the overall new look will last 5 years before another major overhaul.

Can't think of anything... excluding the possibility that they might get the old design back... but that's probably not gonna happen...

They can get the screen thinner and maybe SSDs will become thinner (once they have finished becoming larger in capacity) so that the rest of the computer can too.

But, for your average MB user non of this matters...
