How long do you think it will take the carriers to sort out the hotspot?

I got a trip a week after I get my VZW LTE iPad. The place im staying only offers like $10 a day wired internet. Id like to bring both the ipad and the MBP but im not paying $10 a day when ill only use it at night. so $50 or whatever for 1 month of tethering may be a better idea.

It's already sorted at AT&T and working well, based on my first hand experience.

I'm pretty sure that you can only use the iPad's Mobile Hotspot with the $50/month 5g AT&T Data Plan. Not sure about Verizon.
