How long does a UK rebate take?

Hi,

I sent my rebate form off about two weeks ago. How long do you think it'd take until I get the moonay back?

I'm paying my dad back for the Macbook and he said that as I've been good with the paying back, I can use the money from the rebate (£160) to buy an iPod nano 8GB.

I think it takes about 3 weeks.
It shouldn't be too long then!

Also, how did you manage to get £160 off. I thought the most you could get off was £100????

I'd guess that he's getting 100 for the nano, and 60 for a printer.

Nah, one of each. Although the original idea was to order two macbooks and two printers (I have two Uni sisters ) and have them sent to my house, and the agent had no problem with that. But we decided to get one for the time being.

So you got yours in 3 weeks?

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?

Checked the form T&C... damn... 8 weeks from when they receive it!

I could handle the idea of a rebate as opposed to a straight discount, but it's going to take ages.
