How many hours do UPS drivers work? i can't imagine them making the same driver drive from 6:00am to 9:00pm, does anyone know? I'm trying to figure out by what time i would get my phone based on when it left the warehouse and how long the shift lasts

It's probably similar to the holiday season. The drivers will just work a lot of overtime today.

maybe i should consider a career change, I'm sure all that overtime makes it worthwhile

If they are behind on their rent, they'll take their SWEET TIME delivering packages for the overtime.

The only problem with that is UPS uses a tracking system and if they move to slow, their performance will be flagged and eventually investigated.

Talk about being watched by the man!

im not sure if it was fedex or ups but i heard that one of the two spent millions on some grand logistics deal that found a way for the drivers to do their entire route using only right turns to cut down on travel time.

It was UPS. It actually works and reportedly increased their overall efficiency by 8%.
