Just returned my iPod touch to the Apple store. They said they would refund it to my card. I've been checking the balance periodically, nothing yet. It's been two hours. Just wondering how long refunds typically take to come in. Anyone know?

why in the world can't they refund the card?
Did you get a receipt for for leaving it with them?

No, they did refund it to my credit card. It just hasn't showed up yet so I can't use it. I did. They emailed the receipt to me. I was wondering how long it would take to show up because it still hasn't... anyone had a similar experience?

In the UK, when you return something and get a refund (anywhere, not just Apple), it takes a few days - I've never heard of refunds being shown on statements within hours or even the next day.

Alright, well is there any way to stop the refund and just apply it to in-store credit? Because I would rather do that, and it would be instant.

Not now - I think you're pretty much stuck with waiting for the refund to appear on your card. You could have it by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Refund finally just came into PayPal. Looks like I'll be making a trip to the Apple store tomorrow. :D
