How long does it normally take for new models to hit refurb store?

I'm trying to figure out how long it normally takes. If they follow the same discount, the $1999 model should come down to $1699 in the refurb store. If that's the case I may return my 2 week old 2.4 MBP for the new one (from the refurb store). Thanks!
