How long does it take apple to activate your UDID?

Is it instant? Because I'm at the home screen for iOS 5 beta 2 and I get a message in iTunes saying your UDID isn't registered when it shows in my developer account it is.....bit weird.....

I added a device yesterday, I added the UDID then installed IOS 5 on the phone, it was ready to go before the phone restarted.

The activation servers are having issues at the moment, there is a thread about it in the Developer Forums on Apple's site.

It's not up yet. Beta activation server has been down for more than a day now. Very annoying as I had to restore my phone and now it's basically a lemon. I know I could go back to 4.3.3 temporarily, but I definitely wouldn't want to restore settings from a backup made on 5.0. I guess I'll just keep waiting.
