The Headphone jack on my mac just died. I'm wondering how long it will take to get repaired. I am still covered under applecare, so it shouldn't be a problem to get repaired. and also would that be a logic board replacement?

If you took it to an Apple Store, it shouldn't be more than a day or two. Authorized service providers take a little longer. As for the specific repair. I unfortunately can't tell you.

i think they would take 2-3 days at the most if you go into a genius bar.
In countries with no apple stores they take 2 days to diagnose if its a busy service centre and then further 3 days to get the parts and install it.

If you have a non retina macbook pro then the logic board will be changed, if its a retina they will change the headphone jack/cable or logic board depending on their diagnosis.
