I'm looking to purchase one of the shiny new MacBooks - the new Unibody Means Three Pieces™ version.

I have been keeping a close eye on Apple's online Refurb Store, since I like to make extra savings by buying good-as-new refurbs whenever possible. My question is: does anyone have a rough idea of how soon new models make their way onto the refurb store? I really dislike the plastic enclosures of the previous MacBooks, so am holding out for a refurb of one of the new models.

If anyone has any experience of buying new models from the Refurb Store, and has an idea of how long it might take, I would be grateful for your reply!

Maybe sooner due to all the returns?

What makes you think the return rate is high? I have actually heard that's its considered unbelievably low with very few defects. You can not use macrumors as everyone posting here has a problem so its going to seem as if the macbooks are crap.
