How long for AW3 to update to 4.0.1

Not going to do it if it takes as long as the other update.

Mine took I believe around 10 to 20 minutes, didn’t time it, but it wasn’t too bad, that time includes the download time on the phone and sending it over to the Watch

I started mine at the beginning of a 30 minute TV show. It was finished well before the show ended.

I just timed mine updating after seeing this thread, and from start to finish: clicking download and entering iPhone password, till the Apple Watch finishing booting post update it took:

26 minutes and 3 seconds​

Took around 10 min to download the update to the watch, 15 min for the actual update to boot into watch face.
